“Keeping Up a Pier Glance 3” draws inspiration from the quieter, earthier facets of the Mornington waterfront—where the structural geometry of the boat loading dock and pier take centre stage as the water recedes into atmosphere and memory. Fragments of salt-worn timbers and maritime structures are layered into a sophisticated, contemplative composition defined by texture and architectural weight. Interweaving rich, organic forms with shifting perspectives, the piece creates an expansive sense of depth that anchors a room without overwhelming it, capturing an unhurried and deeply introspective mood.
