Durham J White is an established Australian photographic artist and curator whose practice spans over two decades. Based in the historic cultural hub of Kyneton, Victoria, his work explores the complex relationship between nature, architecture, and a profound sense of place.
Utilising advanced photographic layering and refined digital techniques, Durham builds distinct, tactile compositions that challenge traditional perspectives. Each piece is defined by a raw, textured materiality and a deeply considered tonal balance, capturing shifting light to reward slower, more contemplative viewing.

Driven by continuous artistic evolution, Durham has exhibited extensively both locally and internationally, including a series of highly regarded exhibitions in Japan. His unique fusion of contemporary Australian landscapes with subtle, atmospheric nods to Japanese minimalist composition has earned his work a place in private collections across Australia and beyond.
