Element 4

Green, dark shading, and mauve shadows bring forward a three dimensional like transparency. This piece was influenced by the artists mother. 

Elements 1 -7

Balanced imagery of Japanese blossoms are threaded together by distinct perimeter edging. A inversion of the traditionally soft imagery of a blossom, the Asian influence is given a western colour treatment.

A merging of masculine and feminine imagery that ties the collection together beautifully as a series or as a standalone singular piece.
